The Teen Advisory Board is a group of volunteer teens in grades 7-12. Starting in October, they meet once a month at the library to make recommendations for programs and purchases and to discuss topics that are relevant to the Teen Department. They receive community service hours for their participation. To join, you must complete an application, which is available in the Teen Lounge. For more information, call or visit the Teen Lounge.
The study room may be used by teens in grades 6-12 for up to 2 hours or longer, if no one is waiting. It is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is not reservable.
There are several dedicated full-time librarians in the Teen Lounge as well as several part-time librarians. They are all happy to help you find materials and information, reserve items, work on research papers and homework items and much more. Come in and see us or call anytime!
