AARP 55 Alive - Mature Driving Course

The AARP 55 Alive Driver Improvement Program is offered on an ongoing basis by the library. Registration is in person at the Reference Desk. Preference given to Levittown UFSD residents until one week before the scheduled class date. Classes are from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. When registering, submit check or money order for $20.00 per person for AARP members and $25.00 per person for non-AARP members, payable to AARP. One spouse must be at least 50 years of age or older.


Color Copies/Color Printing

Color copies are available in Media on the lower level. The fee is .50 per page.
Color printing if available in the computer lab. The fee is .50 per page.

 


Defensive Driving Course for Licensed Drivers 18 and Over

Registration for the Empire Safety Council's six hour course is in person at the Reference Desk. When registering, please submit check or money order for $35.00 per person (non-refundable), payable to instructor, Steve Donnelly. Ask at the Reference Desk for class dates.


Fax Service

The library offers fax service for patrons. Fees must be prepaid. The fax charge is $1.50 for the first page, and $1.00 for every additional page. No international faxes are allowed.


Homebound Service

The Levittown Public Library offers a homebound service for those patrons who are unable to physically pick up and drop off library materials at regular intervals. Homebound patrons can call the library with requests for materials or to let us know that a pickup is needed. Deliveries and pickups are made on Friday afternoons, typically between the hours of 1:30 and 4:00. Please contact Jessica at 731-5728, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the homebound service.


Income Tax Assistance

Free AARP Income Tax assistance is offered to older citizens during the tax season. Forms are available year round at the Reference Desk.


Meeting Rooms

When not in use for library purposes they may be used by approved groups holding programs of a primarily cultural, educational, civic or community nature.


Senior Connections

Visit us at the Senior Connections Help Desk and let our trained volunteers assist you with your problem. Our goal is to provide free information and referral services to the older population.
